Ohio, I miss you.

I’m dreaming of Ohio…bright, clean fresh air, cool breezes under the buckeyes, cottontails in the brambles and bees in the meadows, long winding dirt roads to abandoned farms, gurgling creek in the bottom of a gorge…
And running in the yard with my brothers and sisters, skinning knees, poking snakes, pulling briars from our clothes, dust on our lips, snow falling and blanketing the world in silence.
Ohio, i miss you.
